Postcard - Happy Owls "The Happiness of Meeting You"
“The happiness of meeting you.” That is the message brushed across this postcard from Craftman House, in Japanese: anata ni aeta shiawase. Beneath it, two round owls sit close together on a branch, the smaller one leaning in against the larger. It is a quiet way to tell a partner, a friend or someone in your family how glad you are to have them in your life.
Features
Loose ink lines and soft watercolour washes give the card a relaxed, hand-painted feel, set against a lightly speckled background. Like the rest of Craftman House’s illustrated postcards, it pairs simple drawings with warm words, and leaves the back free for your own message.
