Wind Spinner
DESCRIPTION
A washi pinwheel decorated with a seagull, a goldfish or a fox in cut-paper collage. Hold it up to a breeze or blow across the blades, and the colours turn together.
It arrives as a simple kit with everything you need except a Phillips screwdriver, so putting it together becomes part of the fun, a good small project to share with a child.
Features
The blades are made of Mino washi from Gifu, and each creature is collaged in Awa washi from Tokushima.
Kyoto Karasuma Rokushichido designs it in Kyoto as part of a small family of paper toys, alongside its paper balloons and hariko figures.
