Three leaves of clear glass unfold just below the ear, and one more hangs beneath them, swaying with every turn of the head. Light slips along their fine veins in slender lines, there for a moment and then gone, like sun moving through a young tree.

Clear Glass, Drawn from the Flame
Each leaf is formed from HARIO's own heatproof glass, a material the company has refined for more than a century and valued for its exceptional clarity. Softened over a flame, it can be stretched and joined while molten, allowing leaves this slender and finely pointed.
Leaf Veins in Clear Glass
Each leaf carries a pattern of fine ribs, echoing the veins of a real leaf. Without them, the clear glass would read as a simple outline; with them, every leaf gains texture and catches light along its length.
A Pair That Is Only Yours
Every leaf is drawn out by hand at the flame by an artisan at a HARIO Lampwork Factory studio in Japan. The curve of each leaf and the way the cluster opens are set in that moment, so the pair that reaches you holds its own particular shape of spring, one that no other pair quite repeats.
