Carved by Hand
Each bird is individually shaped from wood, with traces of the carving intentionally left visible. The uneven facets and subtle differences in form give the birds a warmth that would disappear if every surface were made perfectly smooth.
Character with Just a Few Details
Rather than reproducing each species realistically, TALKLEK pares them down to their most recognisable features. A patch of colour, the angle of a tail or a simple painted marking is often enough to give each bird its distinct personality.
Made to Be a Little Different
Small variations naturally appear from one bird to another through carving and painting. Even within the same design, no two will have exactly the same expression or surface.
