Dessert Plate – Smoke
Smoke grey glass gathers toward the centre of this small plate, where a ring of radiating ridges opens like a sunburst beneath the surface. Where the glass grows thinner, light passes through and draws soft, silvery reflections on the table.
Serve seasonal fruit or a small sweet, or leave it out simply for the colour.
Features
Each plate is handmade by Kawakami, and the subtle variations in thickness are part of how the light moves through the glass over the course of the day.
