Cat Hina Dolls, Pair
On 3 March each year, Japan celebrates Hinamatsuri, the Doll Festival, also called the Peach Festival, when hina dolls are set out to wish girls a healthy, happy life. In this small pair from Craftman House, two cats take the place of the traditional emperor and empress dolls, keeping all the charm of the festival in a size that fits a shelf, a windowsill or an entryway table.
Features
The two ceramic cats stand together on their own display board, so the arrangement is ready to set out as soon as it comes out of the box. It is an easy way to mark the season, and a playful gift for a cat lover or a family celebrating a daughter’s first Hinamatsuri.
