"Laughing Parent and Child" Torn Washi Sheep
Laughter is easier to share. In this New Year figure for 2027, the Year of the Sheep, Ryukodo brings together a parent and child laughing side by side, a warm wish for a happy year at home with the people closest to you. It makes a gentle New Year gift for a family, or for anyone welcoming a little one.
Features
The figure is made with chigiri washi, Japanese paper torn by hand and layered over the form. The torn edges leave soft, slightly feathered outlines that suit a woolly subject well.
Each piece is made by hand, so every pair has its own look and feel.
