MORBI - Water Glass, Opalescent Blue Gray
Inside the clear wall of the glass, a soft blue-grey drifts like breath on a cold window, dense in one place and thinning to nothing in another. MORBI takes its name from morbido, the Italian word for soft, and that softness is the first thing you notice.
The larger tumbler is an easy everyday glass for water or something sparkling. The smaller size was made with sake in mind, though it suits a short pour of almost anything.
Features
Opaque coloured glass is worked into transparent glass, so the colour floats inside rather than coating the surface. Opalescent Blue Gray was created for this series and was new to Sghr's colour range.
Designer and artisan Natsumi Okuda has said the hardest part is placing the colour, balancing the amount of clear glass against the coloured glass. Because that balance is judged by hand, no two glasses carry the colour in quite the same way.

Care
Wash by hand with a soft sponge and mild detergent, then dry with a soft cloth. Keep away from the microwave, dishwasher, oven and direct heat, and avoid sudden changes in temperature. Please store pieces unstacked.
