"Gekkabijin" (Night-Blooming Cereus) Rock Glass, 240ml
A night-blooming cereus, cut into ink-blue crystal. Its white flowers open for one night only, and the Hana series captures that brief bloom in a pattern that seems to glow wherever light meets the glass.
At 240 ml, this is the rocks-glass size of the design, as well suited to whisky or shochu on ice as to a generous pour of chilled sake.
Features
The colour is aozumi-iro, one of KAGAMI's own: a thin, softly graded layer of blue over clear crystal. Each cut opens a window to the clear layer beneath, so the flower stands out bright against the blue.
The cutting follows Edo kiriko, Tokyo's tradition of hand-cut glass. It pairs naturally with the 80 ml cup of the same design.
