i ro se is a Tokyo-based design brand founded in 2003 by brothers Gen and Dai Takahashi. Its name comes from an ancient Japanese word meaning “brothers,” reflecting the shared curiosity and playful spirit behind their work.

Growing up making toys from whatever they could find, the brothers continue to approach design with the same sense of experimentation. Leather is folded, shaped and transformed in unexpected ways—most notably in the signature SEAMLESS series, where a single piece of leather takes form through an origami-like construction.
